Basketball: Skyliners vs. Trier

Friday night sports night at Pasch course. But this time it was instead of hockey to basketball game. The Skyliners were playing against Trier. And once again a success for the Frankfurt team. In a thrilling game, which stayed until the last thrilling it defeated Trier 71:69.

Weekend: Karaoke in Glastpalast

Last night it happened: Karaoke in the Glastpalast, our tower room with panoramic views of the Frankfurt banking district. These were both classics by the Beatles, Abba and Queen, as well atuelle hits and German songs. The crush was so great that not all songs were sung. Therefore, we look forward to hopefully soon second karaoke night at Glastpalast.

Visit the Goethe University

Yesterday it went with the whole course on Goethe University. There we had an appointment at the International Study Center. First, the students had answered all the questions in a briefings on a possible study in Germany. After that we went on tour with the Frankfurt student. Pasch our fellow students presented the campus. Thus, there were tours in Indonesian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and of course in German.

"Internationaler Abend" in Frankfurt

Tonight was to come: The views expressed in our course Nations had the chance to showcase their country and their culture - a journey around the world and making it a real highlight of the course! We experienced 8 exciting presentations, learned a lot about geography and history and got an object lesson in music and dance. Also brought with them gifts and treats were not spared.

Trip to Würzburg

Today we went to the course for grand tour: Take a train went into the neighboring state of Bavaria, Lower Franconia, we visited the city of Wuerzburg. The main issue was the visit to the Residenz, the former seat of the Würzburg prince-bishops. It is known primarily for the residence of Tiepolo's ceiling fresco. This was representing four continents, the world's largest ceiling fresco in the residence status of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. End were the students that day with a stroll through the downtown area or a piece of Wuerzburg Sacher cake at the café.

Goethe, the Frankfurt Lions

Once we even tried Tuesday night on the ice, we wanted to see today how the pros do. To this end we took the entire course to the Frankfurt Lions ice hockey game against the Kölner Haie. The lion's teeth and were defeated 4-3 in Cologne! Each goal has been widely celebrated. This evening was an extraordinary event for our students who were actually welcomed by stadium announcer!

Reception in Rome

Today was another beautiful day! It has snowed, but it was not cold. And at half past two, right after lunch we have, 68 students with 3 PASCH accompanying teachers and the whole of Goethe-Institut team to go on our way to the "Romans", which is actually the town hall of Frankfurt. The building is magnificent and the Emperor's Hall with its fabulously over 50 paintings by the German Emperor first.
